本文认为《周易》作为中国思想文化的元典，不仅以其文化典籍的形式作用于中国人的审美观念，同时还作为一种集体无意识深深地扎根于民族成员的意识深处；通过审美范畴的建构与艺术媒介的选择，规范着民族审美思想的特征；并且在思维方法与审美观念两个方面显示出它对民族审美文化广泛而深刻的影响。《周易》在中国美学发展史上具有特殊的地位与作用。

The Book of Changes in relation to Chinese esthetic culture

The author of this article is of opinion that The Book of Changes, being the Chinese ideological-cultural metaclassic, not only exerts its influence upon the esthetic consciousness of the Chinese people but also takes deep root in their ideology in the form of collective unconsciousness. It normalizes the characteristic features of the esthetic ideas of the Chinese nation through the construction of esthetic categories and the selection of artistic media, and displays a widespread and profound influence upon national esthetic culture both in thinking way and in esthetic consciousness. It is therefore concluded that The book ofChanges occupies a matchless position and plays a unique role in the history of development of Chinese esthetics.
