| Abstract: | Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor in Ming Dynasty, respected Confucianism and made much of education, had passion for reading as well. He not only attached importance to book collection, but also personally read extensively and studied diligently. His opinions on reading and his considerations had great impact on the establishment and consolidation of Ming Dynasty. |
