| 摘 要： | 通过对19世纪美国大平原畜牧业的考察,论述了美国大平原"畜牧王国"的起源、建立、发展、繁荣直至衰亡的全过程。阐明了大平原"畜牧王国"的发展与繁盛是由于铁路网的发展、优良品种的成功繁育以及特殊的时代背景多种因素综合作用的结果。

| Abstract: | This paper has studied the cattle raising on American great prairie in the 19th century.It has discussed the whole process of it's origin,establishment, development,prosperity and decline for the cattle kingdom on the prairie.The paper has disclosed that factors such as railway expansion,fine species breeding and special times had contributed to the development and booming of the cattle kingdom. |
