"欲"、"刚"差异与中国竞技体育文化

以尼采为代表的西方“欲望”哲学体现着一种勇往直前的生命力,儒家思想中的“刚性”同样有此意蕴,但二者却存有本质的差异。“欲”、“刚”都是奋勇向前的活动,但前者其动为向外逐出,缺乏精神力量,是假有力;后者其动为自内里发出,精神上充实有力,更为充畅持久。西方以“欲望”作为竞技体育的精神内核,现已显示出诸多弊端。以此为鉴,中国竞技体育文化要以更符合我们文化传统的儒家“刚性”思想来建构。

The Distinction of "Desire" and "Strong- mindedness" and Culture Of Chinese Sports

That Western philosophy of "desire" represented by Nietzsche embodies the drive to forge ahead,is similarly connoted in the "strong-mindedness" in traditional Confucius thoughts.However,there is an essential distinction.Both "desire" and "strong-mindedness" indicate a tendency to move ahead,but,whereas the former means a tendency from the body and flesh,and a lack of spiritual support,which is pseudo-forcefulness,the latter is one from the mind and with strong spiritual support,which is more vigorous and lasting.As the West takes "desire" as the spiritual prop of athletic sports with its drawbacks apparent,the construction of Chinese athletic culture should be based on "strong-mindedness" of Confucius thoughts which is more harmonious with Chinese cultural tradition.
