The Study of the Causes of Chinese-English Code-mixing in Spoken Chinese Adjacency Pairs

In the perspective of adjacency pairs,this paper explores the causes of Chinese-English code-mixing from the effect of adjacency pairs,social influence and psychological intention.And thus it argues that this linguistic phenomenon should be treated by the dialectical view and the attitude of respecting the law of language development for this is of significant value in maintaining the normality of the Chinese language and Chinese culture.
