凝炼研究方向 加快民族学科发展——访原西南民族大学校长、博士生导师陈玉屏教授

西南民族大学的民族学学科建设已经走过了六十个多个年头，在一代代民大人的不断努力和推动下，民族学学科建设取得了令人鼓舞的成就。已形成了民族学硕士研究生教育、博士研究生教育相互结合、学科特色优势明显的人才培养体系。应该说，西南民族大学民族学学科在国内已经有了一定的知名度和影响力。对于当前民族学学科建设和发展过程中存在的问题。陈玉屏教授认为，主要是研究方向分散和理论研究稍显不足。今后应该在如何凝炼研究方向，形成稳定的研究方向以及加强理论研究方面再作进一步的努力。

CONDENSING THE DIRECTION OF RESEARCH AND ACCELERATING THE DEVELOPMENT OF ETHNICAL DISCIPLINE — Interview with Prof.Chen Yupin,Doctoral Tutor,the Former President of Southwest University for Nationalities

The discipline construction of ethnology has already passed over sixty years in Southwest University for Nationalities.Under the continuous efforts and promotion of generation after generation staff of Southwest University for Nationalities,the encouraging achievements have been made in the discipline construction of ethnology and talent cultivation system has formed in the mutual combination between the education of ethnology master graduate student and doctor graduate student and in obvious discipline characteristic advantages.So we can say that ethnology discipline of Southwest University for Nationalities has a certain popularity and influence at home.As for the problems existing in the current construction and development of ethnology discipline,Prof.Chen Yuping believes that the main problems are that the research direction is scattered and theoretical study is insufficient slightly.He stresses that we should make further efforts in how to condense research direction to form stable research direction and strengthen the theoretical research.
