A Study of Axiology in Contemporary China and the Re-orientation of Axiology in Philosophy

China's axiology emerged from the discussion on standards of practice towards the end of the 20 th century. Multivalue, which is shaped by market economy, and its conflicts provide a permanent broad social background for the study of axiology. In the past 20 years, the focus of such studies has followed the track from evaluation theory to value theory (i.e.its fundamental principles), back to evaluation theory and then to axiology again. The study of axiology stimulates the ontology of philosophy as well as the orientation of axiology of epistemology of philosophy.
