试论"五四"新文学运动的先锋性

中国“五四”新文学运动与西方的先锋文学运动是同时产生于二十世纪早期的激进文学运动,两者之间有许多共同的特征激进的政治批判态度、颠覆传统文化的决绝立场、语言的求新求变的探索以及对唯美主义文艺观的批判。中国“五四”新文学运动中的先锋性因素,是为了更好地把握20世纪文学在古今演变的过程中如何“变”的两种形态一种是依循了社会生活的发展变化而自然演变的文学主流;一种是以超前的社会理想和激进的断裂态度实行激变的先锋运动,两者的关系构成了中国20世纪文学古今演变的发展历史。

The Avant-Garde Elements of Chinese Modern Literature of May 4th

The modern literature of May 4th appeared in the early 20th century, when avant-garde was sweeping over the West. Both could be defined as radical literature movements by such characteristics as storming criticism of politics, subversive standpoint of traditional culture, language experiment for thoroughly novel forms and stricture against aestheticism of art for art's sake. The elements of avant-garde in the modern literature have a great deal to offer us to understand the presence of two different kinds of shift, the relations between which constructed the history of how Chinese classical literature came into modernity in the past century: One was a natural flow of mainstream literature, obedient to the development of social lives, and the other was a fiery trend, as an avant-garde movement motivated by its attitude of a radical breakaway in order to realize its social ideal beyond the age.
