| Abstract: | With the theoretical characteristics of totality, political equality, domestic peace, publicity, mutuality and positive action, western classic republicanism maintains the conceptions of political freedom with its claiming on the superiority of community freedom over individual freedom, of mixed equilibrium of regime, and of civic virtue. It throws light on the basic problems of western political philosophy. |
