新政治经济学强调以政治与经济互动的思路理解现实中的经济现象。文章以中国的干部治理体制为切入视角,分析了中国地方经济快速发展以及地区经济差距拉大的现象。改革开放以来中国干部治理体制的运作遵循了一种内部劳动力市场的机理,形成了一种强力的官员政治激励,推动了地方官员发展经济的热情,也导致了地区经济差距拉大。中国可以在现有的干部治理体制之下,通过优化官员配置,促进区域协调发展。

Local Official Governance and Regional Development

New Political Economics emphasizes the idea of political and economic interaction to understand the reality of the economic phenomenon. This paper exploits the perspective of China's cadres governance system to analyze China's rapid economic development phenomenon. Since reform and opening, Chinese cadres governance system operation follows an internal labor market mechanisms, and the formation of a powerful political officials incentives to promote local economic development and officials enthusiasm also led regional economic gap. Under the existing Chinese cadre governance system, cadres configuration optimization can promote coordinated regional development.
