论构建和谐社会中媒体的角色困境

新闻媒体作为现代最主要的大众传播工具,在构建和谐社会中具有举足轻重的作用,然而,这个信息交流沟通的平台,如今明显地倾向社会的强势人群,这并不是中国的特有问题,美国新闻自由委员会就表达过"新闻界的发展大大降低了能通过新闻界表达其意见和观点的人的比例"1]的观点.一种对所有人都具有头等重要性的工具却并不能为所有人使用,这将大大降低媒体在构建和谐社会中的作用,本文试图评析媒体的这种角色困境,并从媒体自律、国家扶持、传媒投资体制创新等方面思考解困之道.

On the Dilemma of Media in Constructing Harmonious Society

As the most important tool of Mass Communication,the media occupy a decisive position in constructing the harmonious society.However,being the platform of information communication,the media tend to the majority group.This phenomenon is not exit only in China,but in all of the countries worldwide.Commission on Freedom of the Press in USA has proposed the point of "the development of press has greatly decline the proportion of the people who can press their own suggestion and opinion".A tool be important to everyone but not be used by everyone,which will weaken the effect in constructing the harmonious society.This article analyzes the dilemma of media,and proposes the way to solve the problem from the aspects such as the media self-control,government aid and using the new way of investment.
