性别差异与大学外语教学——对外语学习中女强男弱现象的分析

影响学习者外语学习效果的因素很多,性别差异便是其中之一.长期的外语教学带给我们一个不争的事实,那就是女生不论在测试成绩上还是在课堂表现中都展示了高于男生的实力,但性别不同对外语学习到底有何影响,目前为止此方面的研究尚不多见.本文从男女言语中枢的发育状况、男女的语言听觉能力、语词视觉能力、学习态度、性格特征和男女的语言特色等方面分析了性别差异对外语学习可能带来的影响,并从听写、听力、词汇、语法、阅读理解、表达能力等各方面分析了男女学生各自的优劣势.

Sex Distinction and College Foreign Language Teaching-An Analysis of Female Students' Superiority to Male

There are a lot of factors which influence the effects of learner's foreign language learning,sexual distinction is one among them. Foreign language teaching proves the fact that female students show superior ability to male students in both exams and class performance. More researches on the effects of sexual distinction in foreign language learning are inadequate to meet current situation. Therefore the author analyses the possible effects of sexual distinction in terms of male and female's development of verbal center,language listening ability, visual ability to recognize words,learning attitudes,different personalities and characteristics of speaking. Additionally,the author analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the two sexes on the aspects of dictation,listening,grammar,reading comprehension and expressive ability.
