汉代养生思潮提倡"固精保气",反对情感的抒发;儒家经学诗教主张诗歌的中和美,要求"发乎情,止乎礼义";这种卫生观念和官方诗学批评模式造成了汉代文学抒情式微而叙事发达的态势。汉乐府中情感的流露非常隐蔽,但也凭借"歌"的身份取得了抒情特权;新声俗乐的重"情"特质又促使官方罢乐府,这反过来为歌诗的抒情创造了条件;可惜诗尊歌贱,始终处于边缘化地位。

The government dismissed the folk music from office since it pay great attention to the affection that created factors for the lyricism in reverse. It's a pity that the poem was respectable and the songs were low. The music songs in official conservatory in the Han Dynasty were always marginal.
