| Abstract: | Euphemism,the substitution of an inoffensive expression for one that may be offensive or disagreeable,is one of the figures of speech often used in our daily_life.On the one hand,it includes positive euphemism and negative euphemism according to its intercourse purpose;on the other hand,it also includes conscious euphemism and unconscious euphemism according to its user's intention.If it is used properly,we can get effective intercourse results. |
