北平协和医院医务社会工作实务的几个特质

医学界传统的“生物学”治疗模式早在20世纪初已被人们提出质疑,“生物—心理—社会”三维一体的治疗模式开始受到关注,旨在多角度寻找患者疾病的根源和寻求全方位的治疗途径,为此医务社会工作应运而生。通过对北平协和医院医务社会工作档案的整理研究发现,1921年北平协和医院开展的医务社会工作与世界发展水平同步,在长达30多年的实务中积累了很多宝贵的经验,诸如“助人自助、经济救助、督导制度、随访制度、案主生态系统”等对于当今的医务社会工作实务仍有重要的借鉴意义。
