简论丁日昌学习西方文化之缘由

丁日昌学习西方文化是多方面合力作用的结果。列强侵略的逐渐加深是促发其学习西方文化的直接原因,西学东渐的日益深入、生活环境的陶冶以及师友的砥砺则为其学习西方文化创造了有利条件。但受所处时代、个人经历以及阶级地位的制约,丁日昌对西方文化的学习尚存在缺憾和不足。
