摘    要:杜威 (JohnDewey)是 2 0世纪影响最大的美国哲学家 教育家之一。他的教育理论及思想在实用主义中最具代表性 ,以至于在世界范围内都产生了广泛和深刻的影响 ,中国也不例外 ,尤其是二三十年代的中国教育受其影响颇深。卢作孚是我国现代史上著名的实业家、教育家和社会活动家 ,受杜威实用主义思想的影响 ,形成了独具特色的教育理论并付诸于实践 ,尤其是在教育教学方法上 ,其教育思想及实践活动是中国近现代教育史的宝贵财富 ,也对中国教育现代化作出了贡献。

Abstract:John Dewey was one of the greatest philosophers and educators in the U. S. A in 20th century. As the representative of pragmatism, his educational theories and thoughts were widely adopted in the world, especially in 1920s-1930s of China. Lu Zuofu was a famous industrialist, educator and social activist of China. Impacted by the pragmatism of Dewey, he developed his unique theory of education including teaching methodology in particular. He contributed to the modernization of China's education, and his practice and ideas added to treasure of Chinese educational history.
