Path-Choosing of the Development of Local Normal Universities——The Case Study of the Development of China West Normal University

In the background of the publicity of higher education, teachers＇ education is in a critical turning point. Local normal universities are searching how to meet the urgent need of talents of local economic and social development, to find the way good for the development of higher education teachers. So to hold the ideas of development, innovation and harmony, make good use of the advantage of taking teaching as the basis, follow the road of application, establish ＂university ＋ teacher training＂ mode of development, innovate university culture, should be chosen by local normal universities when dealing with lots of challenges and conflicts.
