| 摘 要： | 1927年五月底，共产国际给中国共产党发出了挽救革命的紧急指示，即五月指示。大革命失败后，共产国际指责中国共产党未能执行五月指示是大革命失败的重要原因。而事实上，在蒋介石发动“四·一二”反革命政变后，武汉汪精卫集团也开始动摇并日趋反动，中国革命进入了非常危急的时期。但远在莫斯科的斯大林等共产国际领导人对中国革命的形势变化认识不够，以为汪精卫政府是国民党左派的代表，要求中国共产党一方面维持同国民党党内的密切合作，另一方面大力开展土地革命，建立工农武装力量，这在实践上是行不通的。
