论全球化与爱国主义教育

全球化如一把"双刃剑",它既使人类相互联系、相互影响更广泛、更深入,又使人类之间的鸿沟更深广,矛盾更复杂。由于全球化时代仍然存在国家利益的冲突,同时我国的政治、经济、文化及其他方面的安全都受到来自别的国家尤其是西方发达国家的威胁,因此我们必须树立爱国主义意识,加强对国人特别是青少年的爱国主义教育。但是,全球化时代需要理性的爱国主义,即要抛弃狭隘的民族主义,以战略的眼光理性地处理国际政治、经济和文化等方面的关系,一切从国家和民族的大局着眼。同时,进行爱国主义教育还必须要注意在观念、教育内容和教育的方式与途径等方面进行创新。

Globalization and Patriotic Education

Like a "double-edged sword", globalization widens and deepens the interconnection and mutual influence among human beings on the one hand, and widens and deepens the gap, and complicates the conflict among human beings on the other. As there still exists the conflict of interests among different countries and as China now is still under the threat of the advanced western countries politically, economically and culturally, it is compulsory to cultivate the patriotic consciousness and strengthen the patriotic education of Chinese people, especially of teenagers. However, in the era of globalization, we should try to cultivate the rational patriotism, discard the narrow nationalism, take a rational view on the affairs of international politics, economy and culture, and take a holistic view for the sake of the interest of our state and nation. At the same time, innovation should be made in the notion, contents, methods and channels of patriotic education.
