正确认识扩大党的群众基础的重要性

中国共产党的一条重要的历史经验是 :既不断增强党的阶级基础 ,保持党的先进性和纯洁性 ,又扩大党的群众基础 ,增强党的代表性和广泛性 ,提高党的社会影响力 ,党的建设和事业才能顺利前进。当前 ,随着社会主义市场经济的发展 ,党的阶级基础不断增强 ,同时 ,也出现了一些新的社会阶层。这些社会阶层中的广大人员也是有中国特色社会主义事业的建设者。党只有既坚定不移地依靠工人阶级 ,增强党的阶级基础 ,又不断吸收新的社会阶层中的优秀分子 ,扩大群众基础 ,才能不断巩固执政地位 ,实现中华民族的伟大复兴

To Correctly Understand the Importance of Enlarging the Significance of Party's Mass Foundation

The construction and the cause of the Party can develop successfully by constantly enhancing the Party's class base to maintain the advanced nature and purity of the Party, and enlarging its mass foundation to strengthen the typicality and universality of the Party and constantly strengthen the Party's social influence. It is an important historical experience of our Party. Currently, along with the development of the socialist market economy, the Party's class base have been strengthened, at the same time, there have emerged some new social strata. The broad masses of people in the new social strata are also the builder of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The Party must unswervingly rely on the working class, reinforce the Party's class base, and accept into the Party the outstanding elements from the new social strata to broaden the Party's mass foundation.
