先秦以至秦汉的薰香习俗文化

中国用香历史久远,早在4 000多年前先民就开始熏烧香草、香木或净化环境、驱虫辟秽、防治疾病,提升生活情境,或祈祝神明,祭祀祖先。熏香陪伴着中华民族走过了数千年,历代帝王将相、文人墨客、僧道医巫、普通百姓,无不对各种香品和熏香器具钟爱有加,由此形成了中国独具特色的熏香习俗文化。结合历史文献记载和考古发现,可知先秦以至汉代的熏香习俗为后世熏香文化奠定了坚实基础。
