把提高城镇化质量作为提高经济增长质量的重要突破口

在经济下行趋势存在、“稳中求进”政策导向的背景下，城镇化是实现中国经济可持续发展不可或缺的重要途径。传统城镇化已经衍生出大量问题，不具备可持续性，也不体现科学发展思想。美国汽车城底特律的破产，亦为中国推进城镇化敲响警钟。应该按照党中央的决策部署，把推进新型城镇化、提高城镇化质量作为提高整体经济增长质量的突破口，并通过深化理论和政策研究，形成推动新型城镇化的合力。

Make Improvement of Urbanization Quality a Major Breakthrough Point for Improving the Quality of Economic Growth

Against the background of economic downturn and steady progress policy orientation, urban- ization becomes an important way to achieve sustainable development of China＇s economy. Traditional mode of urbanization,owing to its manifest problems,is proven unsustainable and against the thought of scientific development. The bankruptcy of the Amarican motor city Detroit sounds the alarm for China＇s urbanization scheme. Therefore, we should seek breakthrough with the improvement of the quality of our economic growth by advancing a new type of urbanization. Meanwhile, theoretical exploration and policy study needs to carried out to boost and guide this new model of urbanization.
