Confucian ethics in relation to the development of overseasethnic Chinese economy

This paper reviews the chief viewpoints on the relationship bewteen Confucian ethics andthe development of overseas ethnic Chinese economy,then goes on to make an in-depth analysis of thespecific conditions for bringing Confucian ethics to full play in the economic activities of overseas ethnicChinese, and points out that Confucian ethics,if it is to become a modernized motive force to promote thecontinuous development of overseas ethnic Chinese economy,should undergo a kernel transformation in itsoutlood on righteousness and benefit.The development of overseas ethnic Chinese economy has achievedthe minglement of ancient Chinese Confucian culture with Western culture.
