| 摘 要： | 多丽丝.莱辛在其短篇小说《十九号房》中运用了包括言语行为的叙述体、间接引语、自由间接引语、直接引语和自由直接引语等在内的五种话语表达方式,生动细腻地透视女主人公苏珊的内心世界,展现上世纪五六十年代知识女性在情感、婚姻问题的困惑。分析了各种话语表达方式在《十九号房》的应用及其相应的优势,以方便读者欣赏该作品。

| Abstract: | Doris Lessing employs five ways of speech presentations,i.e.,narrative report of speech acts(NRSA),indirect speech(IS),free indirect speech(FIS),direct speech(DS) and free direct speech(FDS) to present the characters' speeches and thoughts in To Room Nineteen.By employing different ways of speech and thought presentations,she penetrates fully into the protagonist's inner world,showing her puzzlement at affection and marriage.This paper analyses the application of the speech and thought presentation and their relevant advantages in To Room Nineteen so that a better understanding of the short story will be reached. |
