情系生民 念切实用——蔡襄思想的科学意义

北宋时期的蔡襄不仅是书法家、政治家 ,同时还是一个尊重规律 ,造福于民的具有科学思想的高级官吏。其科学思想主要表现在致力环境保护 ,宣传医学 ,努力兴修水利设施 ,改善生产条件 ;集中人民群众智慧 ,修建洛阳桥的高超工程技术以及所留下的《荔枝谱》、《茶录》这些光辉著作上。他的科学思想不仅达到了他那个时代的高峰 ,就是在今天 ,对我们仍然具有启迪意义

Being concerned with the well-being of the people and paying attention to the practicality——The scientific significance of Cai Xiang's thought

Cai Xiang was not only a calligraphist and statesman but also a high ranking official possessing scientific thought, having a high regard for objective law and bringing benefits to the people during the Northern Song Dynasty. His scientific thought was practised in the environment protection, publicity of medical science, building irrigation works to improve conditions of production, and superb technology of engineering adopting the people's intelligence and building Luoyang Bridge, and in his works such as "Litchi Record" and "Tea Record". His scientific thought reached the peak of his times, and even today, it still gives us enlightenment.
