On Manor Life and Funeral Custom of Wu and Jin Period as Reflected by Soul Jars

As a comprehensive funeral object, the Soul Jar contains much social and funeral information about Wu and Jin Period. According to the content on Soul Jars, the author studies landlords' manor life, including features of manor buildings and figures of musicians, acrobats, warriors and other servants necessary in manor life, which reproduces a picture of luxurious life of noble families of Wu and Jin Period on the lower reaches of Yangtze River. As to funeral custom reflected by Soul Jars, the author generalizes 4 points, from which we can see that funeral custom of the Han Dynasty continues in Wu and Jin Period.
