Feminist literary criticism, as a kind of important literary criticism type in the west, was born in 1960s. Lacking the background of feminist political movement, China didn't have this brand new theory and method until 1980s. Reviewing feminist literary criticism of twenty year processes in our country, we have two great stages: the horizontal transplantation mainly to introduce and research western feminist literary criticism; the perpendicular reform mainly to construct feminist literary criticism of Chinese features.
