湖南农村民变与辛亥革命

湖南省在辛亥革命中具有极其重要的历史地位。近代西方列强的侵略和清王朝的残酷压迫 ,是造成中国社会悲剧尤其是农村的贫困与反抗的根本因素。清末湖南的阶级关系由于留学生增加等因素而发生了一些变化。清末的灾荒与民变实在是一对常见的孪生儿 ,湖南的情况可视为典型。会党和农民对帝国主义侵略毫不畏惧 ,使这一时期的民变具有反对帝国主义侵略的性质。革命党人提出的斗争纲领与农民利益相符 ,这是湖南农村民变与辛亥革命发生关系的重要一环。

The Mass Uprising in the Countryside of Hunan Province and the Revolution of 1911

Hunan Province took an extremely important historical position in the Revolution of 1911. The modern western powers' invasion of China and the cruel oppression by the Qing Dynasty are the basic factors of the social tragedy of society, and the poverty and resistance of the countryside in particular. The class relationship in Hunan Province in the last years of the Qing Dynasty was changed because of the increase of the returned students and other factors. The famine and mass uprising were "twins" constant in the last years of the Qing Dynasty and the situation in Hunan was typical of them. The secrete societies and peasants were fearless of the imperialist invasion, which made the mass uprisings anti-imperialist invasion. The programmes of struggle made by the revolutionists were in agreement with the interests of the peasants. This was the key link of the relation between the mass uprising in the countryside of Hunan and the Revolution of 1911.
