| 摘 要： | 通过对父权制和19世纪英国妇女生存状况的阐述,分析了夏洛蒂·勃朗特代表作<简·爱>中女主人公在同表兄约翰·里德和慈善学校校长布洛克赫斯特的斗争中发现自我、寻找自我的成长过程;研究了简在同罗切斯特的爱情关系中的出走和回归,以及拒绝圣约翰·里弗斯的求婚,找到理想中的建立在平等基础上的爱情,最终走向成熟的自我实现过程.

| Abstract: | An attempt is made to explore patriarchy and the living condition of Englishwomen in the 19~(th) century. It deals with the different periods of growth of Jane Eyre from her girlhood struggling with John Reed and Brocklehurst to womanhood having relationship with Rochester and St. John. In this course Jane constructed a new identity and preserved integrity of her ego. Finally she finished her self-fulfillment. |
