摘    要:"以学生为中心"是英美学者在语言学、心理语言学、应用语言学、二语习得理论研究中提出的一种教学理论."以学生为中心"的教学理论与模式区别于"以教师为中心"的传统教学理论与模式,但它又是在由教师主持教学的环境中实施的.要在认识学生的学习规律、认知特点、影响学习的情感因素、学生的个体差异以及学生的需求的基础上来设计和组织英语教学.这正是大学英语教学改革的重点所在,即首先要有观念和理论认识的更新,从而提高教师的英语教学理论水平和教学实践能力,搞好大学英语教学改革.

Abstract:Bases on the studies of linguistics, psycholinguistics, applied linguistics and second language acquisition, the theory or conceptual principle of "learner-centered" teaching was developed, which differs from the traditional "teacher-centered" teaching theory and model. The "learner-centered" teaching model doesn't mean the unimportant role the teacher plays in classroom. Classroom activities still need teachers to guide, but it requires the teachers to consider many learner factors when they design their English teaching. Therefore teachers should first renew their concepts and theories, and then enhance their theoretical pedagogic knowledge and practical teaching abilities in order to strengthen college English teaching reform.
