| Abstract: | Medical English Translation is a complicated and creative reproduction, which requires the translator to have wellknit medical knowledge and a good command of both Chinese and English languages,and makes flexible use of his professional and linguistic knowledge. This article analyzes amplification and omission in medical English translation from an angle of the characteristics of the translation standards. |
