| Abstract: | Deng Xiaoping＇s cat theory reveals the dialectical unity of the purpose and means. It provides a methodology for people to solve problems. EST translation has its own characteristics. This article accounts for the importance of the translating means to the EST translation through the perspective of the dialectical unity of the purpose and means by introducing the connotation of Deng Xiaoping＇s cat theory, generalizing the characteristics of the EST translation, and using some paradigm examples. |
