| 摘 要： | 本文回顾了现代语言学理论对理解习语类型、形式和功能的启示，认为习语是一种涵盖范围广、有各种句法层次、与动态语境相联系、表达意义丰富的选择性系统，其认知离不开形式和功能的统一。通过真实语料，本文说明了习语汉译英过程中的认知功能语言学理念的体现。

| Abstract: | This paper attempts to explore the forms and functions of idioms, based on the contributions of modern linguistics, holding that idioms are extensively - covering, multi - layered, dynamic, context - related and meaning - rich systems of options and their cognition cannot part with the integration of forms and functions. By means of authentic corpus, the cognitive - functional nature of Chinese idioms in English versions is revealed. |
