To persevere in integrating ideological and political work with material benefits embodies the basic principles of historical materialism and dialectical materialism,and conforms to the laws of people's thinking and behaviour.It is also a valuable experience our Party has gained from long years of practice in revolution and construction.The present article analyses the necessity and urgency of integrating ideological and political work with material benefits at the present stage.The author of the article suggests that in ideological and political work we pay due attention to individual interests,and on this basis guide people to integrate their own interests with collective interests,to take into account both immediate and long-term interests,and to advocate the spirit of selfless dedication.
