On Information Structure of Synonymous Sentences in English |

| Abstract: | Synonymous sentences are sentences of the same denotative meaning, but their connotative meanings are usually different. This paper attempts to make a study of them from the theory of information structure. It is thought that synonymous sentences are usually different in their information structure. |
