生态女性主义的动物伦理观

The Animal Ethics of Ecofeminism

In the discourse of ecofeminism, ＂nature＂ is an umbrella term often used to cover all non-human species, which results in the awkward position of animal issue. Some ecofeminists suggest that we turn our attention to the animals, face up to their sufferings, and explore the animal ethics. Through the aspects of animal suffering and speciesism, contextual moral vegetarianism and interspecies relations, this essay tries to inquire into the animal ethic of ecofeminism. As the root of animal suffering, speciesism has a close relationship with sexism, racism, classism and heterosexism. Out of sympathy with animal sufferings, ecofeminism promotes contextual moral vegetarianism as a way o{ caring for the animals. Interspecies feminist ecocritical perspective will be a new direction for ecofeminism, which will address the interspecies relations to emphasize an animal ethic based on caring, nurturing, empathy and love.
