| 摘 要： | 文化缺省即交际双方在交际过程中对共有的文化背景知识的省略,它具有普遍性和鲜明的文化特性。文章着重从起因、研究目的和翻译重构三个方面探讨了跨文化交际中文化缺省现象,并就如何在翻译中处理文化缺省这一问题提出建议。

| Abstract: | Cultural default can be defined as the absence of some cultural background knowledge shared by the author and his or her intended reader, which is universal and culture-specific. This paper aims to account for the phenomenon of cultural default in three respects: cause, purpose and reconstruction in translation of intercultural communication. In addition, some suggestions to make up the cultural default are offered. |
