| 摘 要： | 如何处理翻译中的文化因素,历来是翻译过程中的一个难点.巴斯奈特认为翻译等值就是原语与译语在文化功能上的等值.文章根据巴斯奈特的文化翻译观,尝试探讨在汉语新词语的英译中对汉语文化的处理以及翻译方法,旨在诠释巴斯奈特的文化翻译观的具体含义及其对解决翻译中的文化问题的指导意义.

| Abstract: | How to solve problems concerning with culture in translation is always a dilemma for translators.Susan Bassnett believes functional equivalence in cultural translation should be the equivalence of cultural function between the original language and the target language.According to Bassnett's cultural translation theory,the paper discusses how to deal with Chinese culture at the time of translating Chinese neologisms into English,which is aimed at illustrating the specific meaning of the theory and its guiding significance on coping with cultural conflict in thetranslation process. |
