| 摘 要： | 20世纪90年代，上海以浦东开发为契机步入建立现代化国际大都市的历程。上海具备建立国际大都市的地理优势和现实可能性，但上海建成国际大都市离不开深厚的历史积淀。文章以1843年上海开埠到1949年新中国成立这一时期的有关历史资料为依据，来探究上海建立现代化国际大都市的近代历史根基。

| Abstract: | In the 1990s, Shanghai went into the progress of establishing modern world city by the chance of the exploitation of Pudong. Shanghai has the geographical dominance and the realistic possibility of establishing modern world city, but the world city Setting up in Shanghai is also reliant on the profound history. The paper explores the modern history basement of establishing modern world city based on the history materials of Shanghai from the year 1843 when Shanghai became trading port to the year 1949 when the People＇s Republic of China is set up. |
