众说纷纭话宗教——20世纪20年代关于宗教本质和定义的争论

20世纪20年代围绕《少年中国》曾发生过一场关于宗教问题的讨论,众多学者从不同立场对宗教的本质和定义问题发表了自己的看法.归纳起来,有基于肯定立场和否定立场对宗教的界定,社会主义者也表达了自己独特的否定观点.本次讨论所涉及的问题构成20世纪早期以后中国宗教学持续关注的问题,其批判精神也为后来的中国宗教学所承续.

Debate on the Nature of Religion in the 1920s

The debate that occurred in the 1920s,organized by the journal Youthful China,concerning the nature of the religion,may be categorized in two general attitudes:positive and negative.The socialists were mainly negative toward the religion.The present paper investigate the concern that modern Chinese showed in the early 20th century to how the religion ought to function in the new age.
