Abstract:Advertisting in China has met a favorable tune when the policy of "reform and opening up" was determined on the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the C.P.C.in 1978. After 1978, advertisting has not only been recovered, but freshened with vigor and vitality, and become an rapidly developing industry. From developing stages and the present situation, the paper showes the great achievements in the past 20 years, and concludes that the policy of "reform and opening up" is an essential guarantee for the advertisting development in China.
