| 摘 要： | 在小城镇理论的基础上,结合西北民族地区实际,提出了"中心村庄"发展假说.把中心村庄发展看成是西北农村经济社会发展,城乡一体化和实现现代化的突破口,寻求"中心村庄-小城镇-中小城市-大城市"内源发展的新模式,为政府的制度安排提供理论根据.

| Abstract: | The present paper suggests that the "central village" model for the development of Northwest China's ethnic communities is likely to be an effective alternative for starting the gradual evolution of the ethnic people from village through town to city. Some substantial suggestions are also proposed in the paper for the governmental planning of the ethnic community development. |
