中西古代诚信伦理比较及其现代意义

中国传统诚信伦理一开始就属于人世间,在孔子那里出现仪式伦理向德行伦理的转化,《中庸》中诚既是天道的特性,又是人主动贯通天道的桥梁和中介,诚具有了天命的权威性和合法性。在古希腊,诚信在法和契约的关系中,只要求语言的真实性,要求语言反映的结果的善而并不追究内心诚信与否。在斯多噶派那里有了更大的转向,诚信被看作上帝置于人心中的美德,从而使之具有了鲜明的权威性和合法性。中国的现代化是在学习和借鉴西方现代文明的基础上进行的,因此,当前的诚信社会建设应立足于现代化本身,而不能将中国传统诚信伦理简单地加以应用。
