Issues on Shu Wu and July Style

Because of affection for the Enlightenment spirit of May 4th movement, and appreciated greatly by Hu Feng, Shu Wu took part in July Style. Shu Wu's theoretical articles and essays symbolized the conscious development and the inner transformation. His theories and animadversions showed the "subjective combat spirit" of Hu Feng, and a contestation which enhanced the character and the force of July Style. Shu Wu enjoyed interactions and cooperation with coteries of July Style in the theoretical criticisms. Their joint efforts echoed Hu Feng's literary thoughts and the writing practice of July Style, but the methods and fields have distinguished Shu Wu from the other critics.
