清代云南瘴气环境初论

瘴气是历史时期在中国边疆民族地区存在的,对人体生理机能乃至生命产生严重危害的自然生态现象,对瘴区各民族的社会历史发展进程产生了重大影响。瘴气的产生及存在有其特殊的自然地理及生物环境因素,因地理、气候、生态等因素的差异,各瘴区瘴气存在的具体原因不尽一致。云南既有其他瘴区瘴气存在的地理、气候和生态条件,也有特殊的地理及生态基础,使云南成为瘴气存在时间较长、瘴气类型复杂的地区之一。

A Study of the Malaria Environment in Yunnan in the Qing Dynasty

"ZhangQi"(Malaria) was a special ecological phenomenon in Chinese border areas in history.It had severe harms on human physiological function,and even their lives,and had taken significant effect on the development of various nationalities' society in malaria areas.Its formation and existence had special factors of physical geography and environment of life-forms.Due to differences of geographical features,climates,and ecological characters,the causes of malaria varied in different areas.The geographical,climatic,and ecological conditions suitable for malaria make Yunnan one of the areas where malaria of most complex types existed for the longest periods.
