双语教学:热点问题的冷思考

受经济全球化潮流和中国加入WTO挑战的策动 ,我国许多城市的中小学开展了双语教学实践。但是 ,在具体实践过程中 ,也表现出了“逐潮化”和“简单化”的倾向。在国际上 ,双语教学研究存在三种争议 ,即双语教学究竟有益于还是有害于学生智力发展 ,双语教学究竟是早点好还是晚点好 ,在双语教学中究竟应当先学第一语言还是第一与第二语言同时进行 ?在中国双语教学实践遇到的三个特殊难题 ,即因语言环境匮乏带来的难题 ,因教师资源不足带来的难题 ,以及因双语教材欠缺带来的难题 ,主张中国的双语教学应建立在理性基础之上 ,对热点问题进行冷静的思考

Bilingual Instruction:Problems and Considerations

At the instigation of the trends of globalization of economy and the challenges to China's entry into WTO,primary and middle schools in many cities of our country conduct bilingual instruction .But in the course of concrete practice,it shows a trend of tidalisation and oversimplification.There are three controversies of bilingual instruction research in the world,that is ,whether bilingual instruction might benefit or do harm to students'intellectual development,whether to start bilingual instruction earlier of later,hether to learn the frist language first or to learn the first language and thesecond langage at the same time.There are three special difficulties in China's bilingual instruction practice,that is ,the shortage of bilingual enviroment ,bilingual teachers and bilingual textbooks.China's bilingual instruction should base on the ration and shold be considered calmly to this topic of general interest.
