Reflections on Understanding of Some Ideas in Our Educational Reform

To achieve the success of educational reform, correct understanding must be take n as the precursor of it. In the present time, some ideas, influenced by globali zation trend of thought and humanism trend of thought, which advocate the combin ation of the eastern and western education and individual-orientation, should be reviewed. At the critical point of the educational reform and social developmen t, it is very necessary and valuable to deeply discuss several cognitive problem s in the educational reform concerning the quality and direction of educational reform, the value-orientation of educational reform and the two different indivi dualities in educational reform.
