试论荀子的天人观非人类中心主义

各种形式的人类中心主义有两个共同点,一是自觉不自觉地将人与自然的关系对立起来,往往忽视人类维护自然的义务;二是否认将人类伦理道德扩展到自然界的必要性.而荀子常自觉地将"天"(自然)人合一,并要求人们在"制(顺)天命而用之"的同时,应维护自然生态平衡和保护人类生存环境.更为重要的是,他主张把人类伦理关怀视野从人际之间扩展到人与自然之间,将"礼"事于天地.从二者之间的区别得出结论荀子的天人观非人类中心主义.

The viewpoint of Heaven-Human of Xunzi is not athropocentrism

All kinds of anthropocentrism have two same points.In one hand,they consciously or unconsciously think that the relationship between nature and human is opposite,so they often neglect the duty of protecting the nature.On the other hand,they think it is not necessary to expand ethics from human to nature.Howerer, Xunzi often conscientiously thought that heaven(nature)and human was in perfect harmony,so he demanded that people should protect the nature when they took advantage of it.What is more,he advocated that ethics should be expanded from human to the nature.From the discussion,we can conclude that the viewpoint of Heaven Human of Xunzi is not anthropocentrism.
