试论弘扬和培育民族精神的基本途径

民族精神是一个民族赖以生存和发展的精神支撑。我们要弘扬和培育民族精神,必须按照"三个代表"重要思想的要求,弘扬与时俱进的时代精神,大力弘扬中、外优秀文化,将民族精神纳入国民教育和精神文明教育的全过程,以爱国主义教育为核心,以全面建设小康社会为出发点,并充分发挥领导干部的表率作用,团结和动员全国人民为中华民族的伟大复兴而奋斗。

On the basic ways to develop and cultivate the national spirit

The national spirit is the ideological prop on which a nation relies for existence and development. In order to develop and cultivate the national spirit, we must base on the important request of "the three representatives", develop the spirit growing with the age and Chinese and foreign excellent culture, bring the national spirit into the whole course of the national education and the spiritual civilization education, take the patriotism as the core, take the construction of the comfortably-off society as the starting point, and give full play to leading cadres' model role,unite and arouse the whole nation to fight for the great rejuvenation of our Chinese nation.
